Wow this is a great film! We laughed, we cried, we became very attached to the characters. Many times when a movie is created from a book the book is usually much better, but not the case with The Secret Life of Bees. The sister relationship is so pure and the love between women is truly believable. This is a must see either in the theater or in the cozy comfort of your own home. Everyone walked out a bit effected by the story, but hopeful with the outcome. This second movie for our club proved to be a winner and I think folks will return next month. We had about 10 women attend the movie tonight.
