Hotel Valencia’s Art & Sole event
If diamonds are a girl’s best friend, then shoes come very close to second. To some shoes are a fetish, but to others, shoes are a piece of art.
Cielo, Hotel Valencia’s 7th floor roof top terrace, hosted a wonderful art & music benefit on 9.9.09 and fundraised close to $2,000 for Soles4Souls.org! The room was filled with diversity, smooth new soul music, and a unique art exhibit containing pieces of art on drawn creatively on shoes. A crowd of more than 100 guests, many who were from the HMM Modeling Agency, gathered to support fashion, music and the arts of local San Jose artists. Raffle prizes were awarded to those who donated a pair of shoes!
The “season of giving” is slowly approaching and Art & Sole was Hotel Valencia and its patron’s jumpstart way of giving back to our community. Thanks to everyone that supported this artful cause!
