10 Ways to Update Your Wardrobe for the Season
We’re loving the sun! The switch to Daylight Savings Time last week and the official arrival of spring this week have us itching for warmer weather and new clothes. Here are 10 ways to update your closet this
spring and summer:
1. Shorts. If you’ve got the legs, wear them short and sassy paired with gladiator sandals..jpg)
BCBG SABINA PAPER-BAG SHORT
$88.00
2. Denim. A well-fitting, dark pair of jeans are always a wardrobe staple, but for spring, denim goes dressy and lightweight as pencil skirts and day dresses.

Diesel JULIGAN 00KZC
$ 160.00
3. Colorful shoes. Expand beyond black, brown and metallics and choose sandals or flats in shades of yellow, orange, blue or red.
BCBG IVANKA COLOR-BLOCKED SLING-BACK
$240.00
4. Maxi dresses. Long but casual in florals and swirly prints or in solid-colored jersey knits, they’ll be weekend and evening staples for hanging out or going out.
5. Statement jewelry. Cuff bracelets and chunky necklaces that wrap and dangle are a quick way to add interest to T-shirts and jeans or a suit for work.
6. Cardigans. Find them fitted, like the ones Jackie Kennedy wore, or slouchy, like the iconic blue one worn by Mr. Rogers. If you must go basic, go gray. But more fun are the sherbet and sorbet shades of tangerine, strawberry, lemon and lime.
Urban Outfitters Alternative Apparel Stripe Boyfriend Cardigan
$48.00
7. Neon. The screaming colors from the 80s are back and here to stay through next winter. They’re best in small doses so look for jewelry, bags and flip flops in acid green, screaming yellow, shocking pink and road cone orange.

Anthropologie For You Flats
$78.00
8. Boyfriend jackets. Also a throwback from the 80s. After years of fitted, shrunken silhouettes, spring brings the tailored jacket that look borrowed from our stylish man’s closet.
9. Square sunglasses. Still oversized but with frames that have more squared off edges.
10. One-shoulder tops and dresses. The quickest way to make a stylishly dramatic entrance.

Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!
