April on The Row
April in Santana Row-lovely, warm and in full fashion bloom! My favorite strolling companion-Bijou (apricot toy poodle) was dressed in an adorable Burberry dress. There isn’t a better dog friendly, dining and shopping place to be then Santana Row! I experienced déjà vu as we dined on LEFT BANK’s patio. While I sipped a Mimosa and had a delicious Croque Monsieur sandwich; we admired all the spring styles and prancing pooches.
No fashion faux pas seen here! Lovely ladies were dressed to impress, strolling The Row in tres jolie dresses. Feminine styles in neon bright colors, bold patterns, full skirts and ruffled halter tops—very Anthropologie. The men looked sporty in white pants du jour and their preppy pastel Polo’s - Brooks Brother’s style.
After brunch, we checked out the new BLUES JEAN BAR, a Denim on tap store. I ordered skinny jeans in my complicated size and within five minutes they found multiple options in the latest designs- impressive! The Jean Bar will be featured in the show and I was soon sold on the hottest must have item-the “Habitual Cinch Eventide” jean. Then we skipped over to FURLA to get my teal accessory -SHARKS playoffs begin this week-as if you didn’t know! Furla has the most gorgeous purses in all candy gem colors. Becky a delightful manager, said they would showcase all their latest styles at the May 2nd show!
Only three weeks left until the fashion show! We went to PRODUCT to meet Grace for a make-up overview. I bought Oprah & Tyra’s favorite item: “Model in a Bottle” (make-up setting spray). Note to females who wear make-up-must own this product! Grace can also colorize any make-up kit for you. So cool!
Models need long lasting make-up and their hair ready by May 2nd. AVEDA Salon is our choice for aromatherapy heaven-a soothing massage and the perfect cut. Kari and her charming staff will be styling the models on show day. Sign me up!
