Well last Sunday I was strolling down Santana Row (Well, it was more of a mad rush from store to store) purchasing as many things as I could hold. Its my little secret tradition to delicately glide into Footcandy and stare, mouth slightly agape, at the Manolos and Jimmy Choo’s, knowing that not even in my wildest dreams could I convince my mother to pass over the American Express just for one “necessary” purchase. But even though I usually enter to worship the shoes, I found something else worth salivating over, a Valentino Handbag. 
Ever since I’ve seen it, I’ve been digging through the archives of Valentino shows, my most recent favorite was one of their Spring/Summer 09 collections, specifically the draped dresses, but back to the purse. It is a unique design, for now anyway. Each blue rose is an individually coiled length of taffeta, which makes it look more like a florist’s bridal masterpiece rather than a designer purse. Available in blue and pink, I was completely torn between which to crave more. My quickly snapped picture, which had just been texted to three of my most fashionable friends, was greeted by the oohs, ahhs and ohmigods of Valentino envy. Sadly, at the rate my money disappears in other stores, my monthly allowance is going to have to go up a little before I can even consider saving up
