Don’t Forget the Water!
It’s a great time to enjoy the warm weather at Santana Row. Whether you’re just taking a stroll down the main boulevard or taking in the musicians and Farmers’ Market, don’t forget to hydrate!
In general, using your thirst as an indicator may not be the best method. It is possible to experience the beginning symptoms of dehydration even when you don’t feel thirsty. Unfortunately, there isn’t a simple answer to how much water each person needs because we’re all so different. To try to keep it simple, follow these steps:
1) Have water with every meal and between meals.
2) Drink before, during, and after exercising (even a nice stroll down Santana Row)
3) Instead of Caffeine or Alcohol, try sparkling water at social gatherings.
