El Jardin: It’s like a Beach Side Mexican Resort
Welcome back to another week here at Santana Row! And one thing that is on my mind this morning is food! The best thing about working on The Row is all of the restaurants I get to choose to eat at between jobs, or at lunch!
Last week I tried El Jardin for the first time, and I was very impressed. Their quesadillas are amazing, and paired with their Jardin margarita you cannot go wrong! The atmosphere is light and refreshing, and very reminiscent of a beach side Mexican resort. I love dining outside when the weather is lovely, and El Jardin relaxed my senses and prepared me for the rest of my day working on The Row.
My server’s name was Gino, and he has been working for the company that owns El Jardin, Consuelo’s, and Thea for the past three years. He says he likes working at El Jardin because of the live entertainment at night, and the outdoor environment. But one thing that interested me was the fact that the employees from all three different restaurants tend to shift around where help is needed, and you could end up working at a different place on any given day. That is intense!
Do me a favor and visit Gino at El Jardin. You will not be disappointed!
It is going to be a very busy week for me at Eli Thomas with all of the prom tuxedos going out this weekend. You can be sure there will be a lot of new and exciting events and promotions to come since school is getting ready to unleash the young masses into their summer escapades. And be sure to check out the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation event this weekend on Saturday the 16th! There will be a walk around the property and tables set up by stores offering samples and services. It is for a good cause, and it should be lots of fun!
Talk to you next week!
