Farmers’ Market Feature: M&M Brittany Homemade Gourmet Dog Biscuits & Treats
M&M Brittany Homemade Gourmet Dog Biscuits & Treats is located in Ripon, a small town nestled between Manteca and Modesto, which is called the almond capitol of California. A home-based business, every item is processed in our home kitchen and backyard meat smokers. We provide all natural, no preservative dog biscuits and treats including veggie chips, baked liver strips, smoked pork, baked chicken strips, and sometimes a surprise or two of different flavors. We got our start cooking special treats for our own Brittany dogs when someone suggested that we make them available to customers.
The business took off in the spring of 2004 with a home business license and California selling permit, then began scheduling festivals and events at dog friendly areas. We’re in our fifth year of producing our products and peanut butter biscuits and nuggets are still our best sellers! We attend at least five markets each week when they’re in full swing. Attending the markets is a total family affair, with our granddaughter attending her first one at four months. She truly is a farmers’ market baby! We love getting to know the other vendors, purchasing their fresh produce, and developing a bond between other hard working people. It’s also great to experience the enthusiasm our customers have for our homemade treats! We strive to maintain healthy, good tasting treats that are all natural and chemical and preservative free.
Our goal is to introduce as many dogs to healthy treats as possible. Once a dog tries our treats, they’re hooked for good. That’s what a tasty treat will do for your canine!
