Girls Night Out

The movie nights have been great! Each month I send out the group Evite to about 30 or so girlfriends and we rarely have the same group of friends. Not everyone knows each other, but they all have the common bond of loving cinema so it works out great. We are finding time for ourselves and meeting new friends. The movie club is something we do together, but we are also in our own world at the theater. It is nice knowing that next month we will meet again, and it is different each time with the variety of films we select. There are so many good movies this season. The common thread is that most of the films are extremely heavy in content and are not “the feel good” flick of the year, but you leave wanting more the next time. Anything to stimulate that brain and keep all of us interested in the art that is film.
