Healthy Alternative to the 7 Layer Dip
Are you heading off to a summer barbeque? Wondering what to bring? Here is an alternative to a traditional 7 layer dip that will have your friends raving!
Pair with multi grain chips, or sliced veggies.
Multi-layer dip
Put into a bread loaf pan, or container around 4 inches by 9 inches.
Layer in the following order:
¾ cup non-fat refried black beans
¾ cup guacamole/or mashed up avocado
1 cup diced yellow and orange bell peppers
1 cup diced raw spinach
1 cup diced tomatoes
¾ cup non-fat Greek yogurt mixed with enchilada sauce
¼ cup enchilada sauce (Trader Joe’s)
½ cup low fat shredded cheese
Black pepper to taste
Guaranteed to be a party hit!
