Project M.O.M.
W’s Salon is looking for a deserving M.O.M for Mother’s Day. We want to hear from you about why you feel that your mom deserves a make over. Tell us in a 500 word essay what makes your mom special, why you want to do this, and what you feel she will get out of it. We will choose three winners and make them over for Mother’s Day. Winners will be selected based upon the merit of the essay. The makeover will take place Saturday May 9th. All entries must also include name, address, age, daytime phone number, and a full length picture of the nominee.

Please include your name and telephone number, the nominee’s name, age, and telephone number along with a recent phograph.
No purchase necessary. Transportation to and from W;s Salon is not included. Open to residents in and around Santa Clara county. If you are located outside of the Santa Clara county area and wish to enter, you must provide your own transportation to/from W’s Salon.
Contest begins April 1, 2009, and ends midnightMay 1, 2009. Three winners will be announced on May 6th, 2009. You will be required to read all rules and regulations regarding this contest and sign an agreement. You must also submit a current full length photo of the nominee.

OFFICIAL RULES Please read all rules before entering in our contest. By submitting your entry, you have agreed to abide by all the entry rules.
1. Contest starts on April 1, 2009 and ends on May 1, 2009. All entries must be received by midnight or postmarked by the contest end date. Contest winner will be announced on May 10, 2009. We will notify nominees via phone and email. If we are unsuccessful in reaching you by May 15, 2009, we reserve the right to choose another contestant.
2. Contestant must be available on the day chosen for the makeover Saturday May 9. If you are nominating someone to win, please get their permission before you enter their story and provide a full length photo. If a winner is unable to attend a runner up will be chosen
3. You must be 18 or older to enter.
4. The winners will have their makeover at W’s Salon, located at 377 Santana Row, San Jose, CA95128 - (408.247.8953). If you are notified that you have won the contest, you must provide your own transportation to W’s Salon. Contest will begin at 10 a.m. where you will receive a haircut, color, and make up by our stylists.
5. You must agree to be filmed and/ or photographed throughout the day and that any images or film used for promotional purposes may appear on television or be used in other advertising, printed matter or on the web sites of the participating vendors for the sole purpose of promoting their respective businesses.
6. If your nominee wins, the winner must ou agree to allow W’s Salon to cut, color and/or highlight, style your hair, and apply makeup as stated in the contest description.
7. You further agree to allow W’s Salon to photograph you and release all rights to such photos for the purpose of advertising, promotion or television use.
8. Please explain why your nominee deserves a makeover and why she would appreciate it. Please attach a digital full length photo of your nominee to the email. If you are unable to send it via email, you may send your entry by regular mail to W’s Salon 377 Santana Row Suite 1070, San Jose, CA95035 - Attn: Project MOM. Contestant must provide a recent full length photo.
9. Contest is not open to W’s Salon employees, their families, friends, or any persons associated with the salon.
