Santana Row Shops & Restaurants join many organizations supporting the fight against Breast Cancer
Most people are aware that October is Nation Breast Cancer Awareness month. Breast Cancer is an ongoing battle with many women today. Many charities every October try their hardest to increase awareness of the disease and to raise funds for research into its cause, prevention and cure. There are many ways that each person can make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. You can raise awareness and funds by participating in many events, volunteering your time, make a monetary contribution or just even wearing the pink ribbon to show your support.
Santana Row shops & restaurants have joined countless organizations across the country to shine a light on the disease, promote the importance of regular screening, and raise vital funds to support research into finding a cure.
Anne Fontaine has unveiled an exclusive 100% cotton pink blouse that pays tribute to her partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure ®. From October 1-31, 20% of the retail price of each blouse sold will be donated to Komen for the Cure. In addition, during a VIP event on October 7, Anne will donate 10% of nationwide sales to Komen for the Cure.
In Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ann Taylor Loft collaborated with their favorite jewelry designers – Robin Renzi for Me&Ro, Kara Ross and Anna Sheffield – on three exclusive pieces. With each jewelry purchase, a $5 donation will be made to The Breast Cancer Research Founation.
Purchase the special edition Pink Ribbon Hand Relief™ at Atelier AVEDA SalonSpa or Atelier Studio during the month of October, and a portion of that sale will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, an organization founded in 1993 by Evelyn H. Lauder that is dedicated to funding clinical and genetic research on breast cancer at medical institutions across the globe.
Every Friday in October is a “Pink Friday” at Kara’s Cupcakes! In addition to all employees wearing the color to demonstrate their awareness of the disease, Kara’s delectable Sweet Vanilla cupcakes will be topped with a special pink ribbon. Proceeds from sales of the cupcake will benefit the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month organization.

A special Pink menu will feature delicious pink cocktails and One Hope Chardonnay -- $1 from every Pink cocktail and One Hope Chardonnay sold will be donated to Susan G Komen for the Cure. On the 13th is a “Say Goodbye to Summer” all-pink luau, featuring the San Francisco 49ers, performances by the Tahiti Nui Dancers who will distribute Pink Leis and Awareness Bracelets, and dancing in the lounge. 10% of all dinner sales that evening will benefit Susan G Komen for the Cure.
