STYLE WATCH BY HMM MODELS
GOT TICKETS? Got mine! I’m almost ready for the “Passion for Fashion” show at Santana Heights on May 2nd! The models are provided by HMM/Halvorson Model Mgmt-San Jose’s top model agency. Yeah! HMM is providing a lovely mix of hot guys and pretty girls ready to model poolside for all you fabulous ticket holders. For $30, you also get cocktails, hors’dourves, a style boutique and a post party soiree! I wouldn’t miss it!
What should I wear to a casual but chic poolside fashion show? My options: A Pantsuit, a Goddess dress, a sexy Boucle style or Maxi length? Send your ideas blog readers!! Rumor has it-the show décor is decorated in a lavish, summer WHITE.
I don’t need an excuse to go shopping but this is a perfect reason to search for a new outfit at The Row! PINK STRIPES has tons of colorful, beaded strapless and sexy maxi dresses! PENELOPE has gorgeous goddess dresses in many flowing rainbow colors! HARAJUKU has the casual chic & short lounge dresses. I can’t even decide which shoes to wear! I found the cutest new *bling* flip flops (and matching jewelry) at CHICO’s and an irresistible red gladiator sandal from DONALD L. PLINER. I love Santana Row-plenty of fashion and food choices all within walking distance.
I finally made my way to WAHOO, for my weekly taco fix—they are so delicious- I usually have two! Wahoo makes the best fish tacos in San Jose! I’m sort-of on a pre-show diet, so this week I limited my craving to one. One thing is certain, walking The Row definitely burns calories, and it was such a hot “Earth” day…I walked right over to Ben & Jerry’s for my free scoop of ice cream! Lucky me!
Afterwards, I strolled into LAVANDE Nail Salon for my appt. (our model destination this week!) Natural and pretty is on the show & toe menu. Did you know a pedicure is only $29 and includes a 10 minute massage? A nice treat for anyone. Love it!
