Summer Fashion Shows Full Recap!
Santana Row was on fire this weekend! Okay, maybe not the best metaphor to use considering our history with fire, but all in all the Summer Fashion Show was amazing!
The morning came with some light showers, but cleared up just in time for the shows this past Saturday. The crowds rushed in and everyone began the day with some wine and appetizers catered by our lovely restaurants here on The Row, including Village California Bistro, Maggiano’s Little Italy and Yankee Pier.
Once people began to take their seats, the anticipation built and the excitement filled the pool side runway. The adorable Angel Fish started off our show with a wonderful ballet in the pool. Immediately after their performance, the show began and the models started working the runway.
The stage was set with white linens that dangled in the wind, revealing the soft & airy persona of the event. The models came from behind the white curtains and walked the full length around the pool, strutting inches from the audience. Bright colored fashion, and highly attractive people filled the event, and there was not one frown in sight.
Some of the highlights, as mentioned by guests, were Anne Fontaine and the Cinderella themed sleeves that adorned a cute and comfortable white top, and a Jimmy Choo clutch provided by Foot Candy. Pink Stripes was a big hit this summer, with their stunning pink dress that featured a contrasting stripped top, and their bubble hot pink and black dress that looks Vegas ready! The ladies definitely wanted to adorn these fashions in a fabulous, fun, adventure filled bachelorette scene!
As for Men’s Fashion, Eli Thomas not only impressed the crowd, but changed their perception of what they offer. Originally thought to be a tuxedo and suit exclusive retail destination, the audience was impressed with their offerings of business casual and trendy evening wear. The models looked comfortable and exhilarated, and model Andy was the heartthrob sensation of the on looking ladies. All male models wore a mixture of Eli Thomas, Oakley, Donald J. Pliner and Brooks Brothers apparel.

The ladies were the stars of the show, wearing jaw dropping outfits from Anne Fontaine, Penelope, Lulu Lemon, and others. Some of my favorites were from Boutique Harajuku and H&M. The bright yellows, and pinks are definitely a welcome addition to summer, and H&M wowed us all with their casual, but trendy styles that are sure to rock your season. Don’t forget the international flare of cultural style that Boutique Harajuku provides, mixing bright colors, unique cuts, styles, and designs.
H & M
Once the final model worked their magic on the runway, the after party soiree commenced, and the attendees got their chance to mingle with the models from the show. The atmosphere was simply radiant, and the energy level could not have been higher! Champagne and wine were flowing, conversations were exploding, and yours truly was in the middle of the action taking newsworthy interviews and capturing images for keepsakes and memories.
Overall, the entire event was a huge success, and the response to the pool side location was off the chart. Many of the guests had been to our Fall Fashion Show late last year, and all look forward to attending again soon!
