Working & Playing at The Row
I like to think of myself as a super hero sometimes. It makes the days go by more efficiently, and it can be fun at times. For instance, when I work at Federal Realty, I am Bruce Wayne, presentable, witty, and ever so intelligent.
During my break between Federal and Eli, I like to enjoy the Row as much as possible. The Row is like my Bat Cave. Here I can rest, recuperate, and take time to analyze my issues at hand. One of my favorite places to do this is Vintage Wine Bar.
If you did not know, I attended a Wine Appreciation class at San Jose State under the supervision of Seth Orvis. The class opened me up to a new world of culture I had never known before, and now I am hooked.
While relaxing at Vintage Wine Bar (AKA My Bat Cave), I like to indulge myself in their happy hour, which runs Monday - Thursday, 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM. What is so great about this place is you can get one glass of wine from any of the 24 different bottles they have available at the bar and you are not restricted to one selection. You can get your second glass free, and choose whatever you like.
Tabatha and Mark are like my Alfred. Alfred is always there to help Batman, and get him through the difficult times. They are what draw me to Vintage. Their presence is friendly, energetic, and they always take care in providing the best service possible.
When do I become Batman? I become Batman when I work at Eli Thomas. That is my night job, and therefore I put on a different uniform. The people that I work with at Eli Thomas are always so much fun to be around, and I definitely have a different persona in the retail environment.
And there you have it. My superhero persona.
You see! Putting things into superhero perspectives can be fun! And it never makes for a dull moment! Give it a go and let me know!
