Satellite Healthcare to open new corporate offices at 300 Santana Row — SAN JOSE, Calif. (April 12, 2010) - Santana Row announced today that Silicon Valley-based Satellite Healthcare will be relocating its corporate offices to 300 Santana Row, becoming the first office tenant to move into the newly completed building. The not-for-profit provider of dialysis services and kidney disease therapy will occupy 16,000 square feet, or roughly a quarter of the building’s office space. Read More

Santana Row iPhone App Wins International Council of Shopping Centers’ 2010 ICSC U.S. MAXI AWARD — SAN JOSE, Calif. (March 3, 2010) - The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the global trade association for the shopping center industry, today awarded its 2010 ICSC U.S. Maxi Award in the category of New Media to Santana Row and its iPhone application, which debuted last July. Santana Row General Manager Tom Martin accepted the award, given to the industry’s most successful and innovative marketing programs, at ICSC’s Fusion Conference in Chicago. Read More

Project of the Decade: Santana Row brings global appeal to San Jose — Patrons dine on a recent evening in Santana Row. The 40-acre village is home to 24 restaurants, a hotel, a cinema, shops ranging from boutique to big-box, as well as office and residential space.
As president and CEO of San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce, Pat Dando regularly receives visitors from around the world, curious about the global cradle of high technology.They frequently ask to visit some of Silicon Valley’s iconic companies: eBay Inc., Cisco Systems Inc. and Adobe Systems Inc., among others. But the next destination on their wish list is a very different sort of municipal landmark."They ask to see Santana Row," said Dando, who was a member of the San Jose City Council when the chic mixed-use development was constructed by property owner Federal Realty Investment Trust of Rockville, Md.
